Nina Timerman Obituary

Nina F. Timerman, 96, of Brownville, New York, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025.

Nina was born on June 26, 1929, in Batavia, New York, the daughter of Harry and Mary Meade Farnham. She graduated from high school in Teaneck, New Jersey, and went on to attend the Watertown School of Commerce, where she met the love of her life, Robert L. Timerman. The two were married on June 24, 1950, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Watertown. In 1956, they built their forever home in Brownville.

Mr. Timerman was the owner and operator of Timerman's-Adams Insurance in Chaumont. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2024.

Nina worked for many years as a secretary for Dr. Chrysler. She enjoyed crafting and shopping, and she especially cherished time spent with her family. During election week she opened her home selling crafts.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stuart F. and Vicky Timerman of Milton, Delaware; her daughter, Deborah T. Adams of Dexter, New York; three grandchildren, Doug and Kelsey Adams of California, Steve Adams of Massachusetts, and Heather and Robert “J.R.” Walker of Milton, Delaware; and five great-grandchildren, Avery Adams, Ryan and Charlotte Adams-Lopez, and Rune and Edwin Walker.

In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Nina was predeceased by her siblings: her two brothers, Guy W. and Lester Farnham and two her sisters, June F. Owen and Fern F. Childs.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 18 at Johnson Funeral Home at 2 p.m.  Burial will follow at Dexter Cemetery.
