Kris F. Mount

Kris F. Mount, 54, of Three Mile Bay, New York, passed away on September 25, 2024, following a brief battle with cancer. 

He was born on April 8, 1970, in Watertown, New York, the son of Spencer and Corky (Cobb) Mount. Kris attended Lyme Central School. Kris worked various jobs in the local area, including many years as a truck driver for Gaetano's Transportation in Watertown.  

He was a man who loved fishing, building things, and lending a helping hand to others with their projects. Kris was a regular at Moe’s Diner in Watertown, where he enjoyed spending time with friends. 

Kris is survived by his two sons, Zachary David Mount of Watertown, NY, and Derek Mount of Theresa, NY; his two brothers and their wives, David and Olga Mount, and Tim and Renae Mount, all of Three Mile Bay; and his three sisters and their husbands, Dawn and Alan Cuppernell, Lori and Ron Walker, and Kelley and Carl Savage, all of Three Mile Bay. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kris was predeceased by his parents. 

Honoring Kris’s wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours, and he will be cremated with burial to take place at the Three Mile Bay Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
