Donna M. Warren

Donna M. Warren, 78, of Brownville, NY, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, at the Hospice of Jefferson County Residence at the Ellis Farm, surrounded by her beloved family.

Born on January 24, 1946, in Watertown, NY, Donna was the daughter of James F. and Violet M. (Holloway) Daniels. She attended General Brown High School and married the love of her life, Raymond R. Warren, in 1963. The couple spent most of their married life in Brownville.

Donna began her career as a waitress at the Hotel Woodruff and later worked as a machinist and supervisor at Northland Electric. After the company relocated, she joined Covidien as an assembler until her retirement. Donna also dedicated time working part-time at the Village of Brownville office.

A communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Donna was known for her love of her cat, Lily, her passion for working on the computer, and her enthusiasm for attending rummage sales.

Donna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin R. and Tracy D. Warren of DePauville, NY; grandchildren, Casey (Aubree) and Hailey of TX, Andrew of DePauville, NY, and Brittany of Watertown, NY; and five great-grandchildren, Gatlin, Cannon, Colton, Weston, and Ayla. She is also survived by her brother Ronald Casler (CJ Jackson) of Watertown, NY; sister Dawn Daniels of Dexter, NY; sister-in-law Nancy Zeltwanger of Dexter, NY; nephews Donald Beach (Amy) of Carthage, NY, Robert Beach (Billy Jo) of Watertown, NY, Michael Beach (Sandy) of Carthage, NY, Jeremy Scott (Erin) of DeWitt, NY, Jayme Casler of Watertown, NY; nieces Sandra Berkman (Thomas) of Watertown, NY, Laura Locy (David) of Theresa, NY, Alicia Ahlstrom (Bjorn) of Brownville, NY, Julie Munk (Richard) of Glen Park, NY, Dawn Cote of Dexter, NY, and Megan Cosson (Dan) of Clarksville, TN; and cousins Connie Mason of Dexter, NY, Dale Freeman (Lori) of Dexter, NY, Gale Freeman (Lesley Ullman) of Dexter, NY, Nathan Holloway (Kay) of Watertown, NY, Alvin Holloway of OH, Corky Marlowe of Glen Park, NY, and Norma Jean Dobbins of Honeyville, NY. Donna is also survived by her best friend Johanne Lajoie of Watertown, NY.

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her husband, Raymond R. Warren, who passed away on April 21, 2005; son, Scott Warren; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Donald Beach; brother, Charles Zeltwanger; nephew, Charles Zeltwanger, Jr. and niece, Kandy Minor.

Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home in Dexter, NY. A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from noon to 3pm at the Town of Watertown Station 1 Hall on Brookside Drive, Watertown, NY. Graveside services will take place on Saturday, May 17th at 11 a.m. in the Brownville Cemetery.
