Chester “Chuck” Junior Gamble, 67, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 15, 2024, after a sudden medical event.

He was born on February 6, 1956, in Watertown, New York, the son of Chester “Chet” and Joan (Baldwin) Gamble. He graduated from General Brown Central High School in 1976. After leaving school he worked several jobs, including at the Carriage House Restaurant and then Century Department Store before retiring due to a disability

Chuck was a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and was always rooting for his team. He enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He also liked going for long walks, enjoying the great outdoors, and fishing.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Dexter American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 1400.

He is survived by his siblings: Jody Paige, Sackets Harbor; Billie (Fred) McAdam, East Aurora; Gail Torres, Dexter; a sister-in-law Jackie Gamble, Rome; several nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

Chuck is predeceased by his parents, a brother, Timi – who passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2023, a brother-in-law, Donald Paige.

Despite the valiant efforts of family members, and compassionate medical professionals, Chuck’s sudden passing has left a void in our hearts. The family wishes to express deep appreciation to everyone who rushed to his aid, offering comfort during those critical moments.
