Victor L. Carr, 79, of 618 Pine St., Glen Park, NY, passed away September 4, 2021 at his home, where he was under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County.

Born on June 10, 1942 in Watertown, NY, son of Victor H. and Marjorie (Bevens) Carr, he attended General Brown High School.  Following school he served in the US Navy.

He married Jennie M. Bice, of Worth, NY, on September 28, 1968.  The marriage was blessed at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in Adams.  The couple resided in Glen Park.

Victor worked for Terry Granger Paving, TJ Paving, and Main Auto Parts in Watertown, for several years up until he retired.  Jennie worked at Mercy Hospital for 30 years.

He enjoyed going to barn dances, Bingo, driving stock cars and he loved John Deere tractors.

Among his survivors are his wife, Jennie M. Carr, Glen Park, NY; two sons, John C. Carr, Glen Park and Victor O. Carr, Watertown; four grandchildren, Alexis, Riley, Austin and Gage; his sister, Mary Stiles, Waterville, NY and a brother, Donnie Carr, Kellogg Hill, NY.

Besides his parents he is predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Chris Carr.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.

It was his wish to be cremated and burial will be in Parish Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
