Obituary

Rose M. Dailey, 71, of 533 Davidson St., Watertown, passed September 16, 2018 at her home.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home 117 N. Massey St., Watertown.  She will be cremated following the service and burial will take place at a later date.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 at the funeral home.

She was born on June 28, 1947 in West Carthage, NY, daughter of Dorwin and Edna (Bonney) Murdock.  Rose graduated from Carthage Central High School in 1965.  She married Michael A. "Mickey" Dailey on November 1, 1969 at St. James Catholic Church in Carthage.  The couple then resided in Watertown, where her husband owns and operates Mickey's Radiator Service.

Rose waitressed at various restaurants in the Watertown area for many years, provided child care in her home, and retired from Wal-Mart where she was a supervisor in the electronic department.

She enjoyed bowling, reading books, and spending time by her pool, baking apple pies and baklava for family and friends, collecting wind chimes and Mickey Mouse items and playing Yahtzee.

Among her survivors are her beloved husband, Michael A. "Mickey" Dailey, her three children and their spouses, Donna R. Howell and her fiancé Roger A. Cook, Watertown, Michele L. and Stacy B. Stanfa, Watertown, Michael A. and Nicole K. Dailey, Ogdensburg, four grandchildren, Taryn, Cody, Jillian and Ryan, a brother and two sisters in law, Gerald and Billie Murdock, Natural Bridge, Linda Murdock, Lowville, two sisters and their husbands, Shirley and Dan Christian, FL, Sally and Gary LaVancha, Natural Bridge, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents a brother Jimmy Murdock passed before her         .
