Patrice Lynne Ward, 64, of Falls Church, Virginia sadly left us on December 26, 2022 following a short battle with cancer.

Patrice was born in Syracuse, NY, where she graduated in the class of 1976 from Henninger High School, and attended Clarkson University.  Later Patrice joined federal service with the US Immigration & Naturalization Service as an immigration inspector in October 1987. Her career took her around the country and world, with her final duty as the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agencies Chief Acquisition Executive until her retirement in August 2021.

Patrice enjoyed her beloved cats, her friends, shopping, traveling, and her cottage on Pillar Point, NY. She will be best remembered for her endless generosity and laughter with her family and lifelong friends.

She is survived by her brother and sister in law, Daniel (Wendi) Ward and their daughters, Claire and Andie of Cape Vincent, NY; a sister-in-law, Tammy Seeloff; nieces, Sarah Jo Ward, Morgan Ward, Hannah Ward, and a nephew, Michael Ward.

Patrice was preceded in death by her parents John Ward and Constance Ward and her two brothers, Douglas and Michael Ward.

Services will be held from 10a.m. to 11a.m. on Saturday, June 3rd at Woodlawn Cemetery Sunset Mausoleum Chapel in Syracuse, NY.
