Michael C. Phillips, 58, of 32861 Dog Hill Road, LaFargeville, NY passed away June 27, 2021 at the Samaritan Medical Center.

He was born on March 11, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio, son of Vern and Rosemary (Brell) Phillips.  He entered the US Army on November 16, 1963 in Cleveland, OH and served with the Co B 4 ^th 40 ^th AR HQ Forscom FC.  He was honorably discharged on December 18, 1985 as PV1.

He married Paula Overton, the marriage ended in divorce.  He moved to NNY where he worked as a mechanic for various businesses in the local area for several years.

Among his survivors are his companion of 24 years, Ellen Y. Lewis of LaFargeville; five children, Charles Phillips, PA, Randall Phillips, Mass., Miriah Jean Phillips and her fiance, Charles Marlow, PA, Angel Wrobel, TX and Michael Tyler Phillips, Washington; three step children,  Ellen Hallenbeck, Watertown, Scott Lewis, Watertown and Allen Lewis, Oregon; several grandchildren and step grandchildren;  his brother, Rick Phillips, Cincinnati, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he is predeceased by a sister, Karen Deshetler and a stepson, Ronald Lewis.

A Celebration of Life will be held  Saturday, July 10th beginning at Noon at the home of Ellen and Michael in LaFargeville.
