Mark W. Rickett, age 50 of Weldon Dr. Watertown, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday morning. Mark was born August 5, 1965 in Buffalo the son of Donald S. and Kay Lou Dingman Rickett. He graduated from Peekskill High School and Mercy College in Westchester and Jefferson Community College in Watertown, NY. Mark worked as a bartender in several large country clubs and restaurants including his last at the Last Call in Evans Mills, NY. He is survived by his parents Donald and Kay Lou Rickett of Watertown. A brother and his wife Matthew and Margaret Rickett of Hopewell Junction,NY , a niece Cassandra and his favorite cat Jasper. A funeral service will be held at 1st United Methodist Church on Mullin St. Watertown at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday with the Rev. Jeff Newak officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 1-3 Pm prior to the funeral at the church. Donations may be made to your local SPCA.
