Kendrick F.Grosse, Jr., 74, of 619 Hamlin St., Watertown, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Samaritan Medical Center.

He was born on January 23, 1944 in Watertown, NY, son of Kendrick F. Grosse Sr. and Dorothy E. McLean.

He graduated from Carthage High School in 1963.  Following school he married Mary Gill on November 29, 1967.  The couple resided in Carthage where they lived most of their lives.  Mr. Grosse was a custodian at Carthage Middle School for many years, retiring in the early 90's.  In retirement, he continued to work for Stewart's where he enjoyed being a clerk and dealing with people.

Among his survivors are his three children and their spouses, Terri and Robert Chenoweth, Timothy and Melanie Grosse and Brian Grosse, three grandchildren, Tonya Woodside, Evan Grosse and Alexander Grosse, all of Watertown.

Besides his parents his beloved wife Mary M. Grosse passed April 15, 2009.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service. He will be cremated and the burial will take place at a later date.
