Obituary

Helen Tice Verrey of Dexter, NY passed away peacefully on January 8, 2019 in Watertown, NY at the age of 97. Helen was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She resided in Dexter, NY for 25 years and was formerly from Glen Rock and Waldwick, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Albert C. Tice in 1964.  She is survived by her husband of 45 years Emil Verrey, her daughters Christine O'Keefe and her husband Dennis of Mahwah, NJ, Judith Miggels and her husband Stephen of Lake Pleasant, NY, and Marcia LePore and her husband Michael of Bernardsville, NJ as well as her beloved grandchildren, Colleen, Shannon and Kerri O'Keefe, Brian and Christopher Miggels, and Michael LePore.  She was a proud great-grandmother to her seven great-grandchildren, Ashley and Marissa O'Keefe, Kyla and Caity Egan, Alexis Powell and William and Hudson Miggels. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 10 , 2019 from 5-8 PM and Friday January 11 , 2019 from 1-3 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Avenue, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 12 , 2019 at 10 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 155 Linwood Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ. Please send tributes, memories and condolences to vanemburghsneider.com .
