Dorolyn R. Marsden, 80, of 13976 Military Road, Sackets Harbor, passed away December 4, 2018 at the Samaritan Medical Center.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was born on March 25, 1938 in Watertown, daughter of Robert Buddy Durant and Pauline Files.  She graduated from Watertown High School.  Following school she married Robert Marsden on February 27, 1971 in Carthage.  The couple resided there until they moved to Sackets Harbor in 1981.

Mrs. Marsden worked at West Chemicals in Gouverneur where she met her husband.  She then provided child care out of her home in Sackets Harbor for many years.

Among her survivors are her three children, Robert Marsden, Sackets Harbor, Lorraine Marsden, FL, Mary Marsden, Watertown; three grandsons, Brandon, Kane and Dakotah; two sisters, Molly Barkley, Carthage, Cindy Durant, PA; a brother Michael Durant, Carthage and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents her husband Robert Marsden passed away March 24, 2018.
