Doneene (Deena) M. Bayette, 54, of Mill Street, Watertown passed away at 218 Charles St., Watertown where she was under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

Born on April 24, 1965 in Watertown, NY, daughter of Donald K.(deceased) and Delta (Eldridge) Bayette Sr., graduated from Watertown High School in 1983.

She worked at various jobs in the local area while she raised her family in the Watertown area.  In 2001, she moved to Loris, South Carolina where she was a cook at the American Hero Restaurant for many years.  She returned to Watertown in 2015.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and sitting by the camp fire and spending time with family and friends.

Among her survivors are her mother and step father, Delta and Gary Abrams of Loris, SC, her three children, Joel (Amber) Garbutt, Carthage, Cody Loomis, Carthage, Alicia Loomis, Loris, SC, three grandchildren, Autumn, JR and Daxten, her siblings, Bridgette (Terry) Williams, Watertown, Robbin Bayette, Myrtle Beach, SC, Donald Bayette Jr., Watertown, Darci Abrams, Loris, SC, a step daughter and her husband, Tonya and Chris Barboza, Carthage, and many nieces and nephews.

During the last few weeks of her life, she resided with and was cared for by her lifelong friend Dawn Amo with the help of Jen Clayton.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

It was her wish to be cremated and burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
