Donald L. Barton, 88, a resident at the Samaritan Summit Village passed away January 19, 2019.

He was born on September 19, 1930 in Henderson, NY, the son of Ralph and Anna (Watts) Barton and he attended Belleville Union Academy.  Following school he and his father worked for various farms for several years in the Belleville and Henderson area.  Donald was an avid sports enthusiast and loved watching sports on tv.

Among his survivors are his beloved sister, Gwendolyn Duff, Watertown and her two sons and his nephews, Douglas (Toni) Burns, Mooresville, NC and Robert (Patti) Burns, Statesville, NC and many more nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents a nephew, Jack Burns passed away before him.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.  A graveside service will be held in the Rodman Cemetery in the spring.
