Marie J. Frank, age 85 of Brown Blvd. Brownville passed away Saturday morning at her home.

Marie was born November 18, 1923 in Hull, Quebec, the daughter of Emile and Rosa Jeannotte Demerse.

Marie graduated from school in Canada. She married Joseph W. Frank in 1952 in Canada.

The couple moved to Brownville in 1968. She worked at Mercy Hospital as Activities Director until she retired.

Surviving is a son, Kenneth and Cynthia Frank of Brownville and a daughter Mrs. Mark JoAnn Gillette of Texas. She has seven grandchildren.

A brother Jean Claude Demerse and a sister Juliette Demerse predeceased her.

There will be a memorial service at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s’ Association. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
