Gerard A. Goulette Gerard A. Goulette, 63 of Dexter, NY, died Thursday 3:45 a.m. at his home. He had been under the care of Hospice of Jefferson County and his family.

Born in Berlin, NH on October 28, 1944, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and the late Lumina (Noel) Goulette. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Berlin in 1962. Mr. Goulette married Susan A.Tyrell June 2, 1973 at Stockton, California. He served during Vietnam war in the Marine Corps from July 23, 1962 to April 21,1967. His duty was an Embassy Guard in Poland and Norway and was discharged as a Sergeant.

He Worked for U.S. Border Patrol until retiring in October of 1994.

Survived by his wife: Susan A.(Tyrell) Goulette, two sons and daughter-in-laws Mark A. and Erin E. Heller of Brownville, Gerard A. and Jennifer L. Goulette of Grand Rapids Michigan; two daughters and son-in-laws Melissa and Michael Becker of Watertown and Cassandra and Todd Mason of Cape Vincent. He also has eight grandchildren, nieces and nephews, two brothers Arthur A. of Groveton, N.H. and Robert of Forest City, N.C.

He was predeceased by a brother Raymond.

He enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, woodworking and his grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours or funeral. He will be cremated. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County at 425 Washington St. Watertown, N.Y. 13601. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
