Lawson G. Mott Lawson G. Mott, age 89 of Mechanic St. Watertown; passed away at 9:45 P.M. at Samaritan Medical Center Thursday evening. He had been a patient since May 19th.

Lawson was born August 31, 1917 in Packenham, Ontario Canada. He was the son of Gordon G. and Ethel Lawson Mott. He attended school in Canada, Rossie, S. Hammond and Pillar Point. He married Dorothy Weaver on November 20, 1940. They owned and operated a farm on Pillar Point for 25years. He then worked at New York Air Brake in the maintenance dept. where he retired in August of 1979. Mrs. Mott passed away May 2, 1980.

He is survived by two sons and their spouses- Robert and Eulie Mott of Brownville and Roger and Annette Mott of Watertown. He has four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was also survived by sisters Jean Townsend of Watertown and Irene Timmerman of Limerick and Dorothy Kirch of Watertown. He also has nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son Donald Mott in 1965 and a sister Mary Peer and a brother Morton Mott.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with the Rev. Henry Schick, pastor of River of Life Fellowship Church of Watertown officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. There will be a calling hour prior to the funeral from 1:00 -2:00 P.M. Donations may be made to River of Life Fellowship Church of Watertown.
