Victor R. Vandermill Jr., age 47 of Fields Road, Town of Hounsfield died Monday at his home from suicide.
Victor was born December 22, 1959 in Watertown, the son of Victor and Grace Eckert Vandermill Sr. He graduated from Sackets Harbor High School.
He married Janet Wilton on August 20, 1982 in Sulphur Springs. The couple lived in the Town of Hounsfield. He worked as a delivery driver for Watertown Builders for several years and was currently employed at Meola Cleaners in Watertown.
He is survived by his wife Janet and a son Mark Vandermill at home. His mother Grace Schuster of Watertown and two sisters Mrs. Gary Jeanette Riordan of Mannsville and Mrs. Frank Victoria Potoski of Watertown and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A son David died January 15, 2007 from an auto accident.
A memorial service will be held Friday 4:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. A private burial will be held at Dexter Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to Sulphur Springs Fire Dept.
