Melinda L. Neumeyer

Melinda L. Neumeyer, age 44 of Hunters Run, Dexter; passed away Sunday morning at Samaritan Medical Center ER.

Melinda was born July 18, 1963 in Watertown, the daughter of Charles and Nancy Walroth Neumeyer. She graduated from General Brown High School in 1981.

She worked as a cleaner at Crescent Yacht Club, Chaumont for many years and also cleaned homes and office for several doctors, lawyers and dentists.

She was given an award by the Head Start Program for the most attending parent.

She is survived by three children- Julia M. Parker and Taylor Strader both of Dexter and Kale Luke Parker of Lake City, Florida. Her fiancée’ Don Buckbee of Watertown and her parents Charles and Nancy Neumeyer of Dexter and a sister Wendy Neumeyer of Dexter also surviving.

A sister Becky Lipinski predeceased her in 1997.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with the Rev. Helen Hadley of the Dexter United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
