George Edward Talbot

George Edward Talbot, age 82 of E. Grove St. Dexter passed away Saturday afternoon at the Samaritan Medical Center ER. He had been stricken at home.

George “Ed” was born January 1, 1925 in Watertown. He was the son of George and Vera Tidd Talbot. He attended Dexter Elementary School.

He lived in Watertown, Long Island, Port Jefferson, Northport , back to Watertown in 1948 and then has resided in Dexter since then.

He worked briefly at Watertown Bowling Alley and J.R.C. for several years.

Surviving is a sister Elizabeth Phillips, address unknown and a half brother Eugene Williams of Dexter and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at Dexter Cemetery in the spring. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to J.R. C. at P.O. Box 41 Gaffney Dr. Watertown or the Dexter Ambulance Squad. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
