Shirley J. Baldwin

Shirley J. Baldwin, 69 of 22070 Baldwin Road, Dexter, NY, died Wednesday evening in the Mercy Health Center, Watertown, NY. She had been a patient there since March of 2006.

Born in Dexter, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur M. and the late Florence B. Salsbury Baldwin. She attended school on Pillar Point. She stayed at home and worked the farm with her parents and her brother after her parents died. She never married.

She is survived by four nieces, three nephews and a sister-in-law Eunice Baldwin of Ogdensburg. She was predeceased by brothers Kenneth, Raymond, Frederick and Milford.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to Pillar Point Fire Dept. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
