James A. LaFlair James A. LaFlair, age 55 of Perch Lake Road, Watertown passed away at Samaritan Medical Center Tuesday evening. He had been disabled for several years.

James was born April 15, 1951 in Lowville. He was the son of Robert and Naomi Hulbert LaFlair. He graduated from General Brown High School in 1971. He had been a farmer and also worked as a mill worker at N.Y. Air Brake in Watertown.

He married Brenda M. Sampson on July 12, 1975 in Adams Center. The couple lived in Watertown until moving to their present home five years ago.

He was an avid fan of General Brown Football.

Surviving is his wife Brenda and three children. Mrs. Edward Alicia Whitford of Jamestown, N.Y., Mrs. Sonny Crystal Sech of Theresa, and Elizabeth Davis at home. He has 8 grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother also survive. Juanita and Dennis Hoistion of Pamelia, Sharon and John Jiuliani of Palm Coast, Florida and Frank and Christine LaFlair of Pamelia. He also has several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers Robert Jr. and Richard LaFlair predeceased him.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. There will be no funeral service. He will be cremated. Donations may be made to General Brown Booster Club.
